Of course a ton of things have happened since I blogged at Thanksgiving. Emily is officially a walker now, and as of yesterday can stand up on her own without holding on to anything. I think those crazy days of crawling are over, which is a really weird feeling, especially since she's only 10 months old.
Emily has other new tricks as well, she's clapping her hands a lot, and waving. It seems like everywhere we go people tell us she's the happiest, most smiliest baby they've ever seen. Oh yeah, we think she can say "kitty" but it sounds more like "key". She still has her moments but overall she's the best little baby ever. We have had some real ups and downs with the onset of daycare, mostly due to Emily catching one sickness after another, including her first ear infection and fever. Unfortunately Dave and I haven't been able to escape the germs and we were sick all last week.
As I'm writing this blog Emily is sitting in her high chair eating cheezy puffs and yogurt melts. Man she's cute...
The pictures above are all pretty recent, but I wanted to go back in time a little bit too. The picture below is Emily taking one of her very first steps at her Grammy and Pop-Pops house in Pennsylvania. This was when she was at the ripe old age of 8 months...
